Chiraz Muradin, Founder | Lawyer
Since 2009 Chiraz is registered as a lawyer in Amsterdam. He graduated cum laude in private law from the law faculty of the VU University in Amsterdam in 2008 and was shortly afterwards publicly voted one of the most promising lawyers in the Netherlands. He then started his career as a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, one of the leading law firms in the Netherlands.
In the first years of his profession, Chiraz handled a variety of cases in the field of Dutch employment law, commercial contract law and corporate law for various individuals and companies. From 2011 he specialized in corporate employment law for larger (listed) companies. In addition to his practice, he completed two postgraduate employment law specialization courses, Grotius Employment Law cum laude in 2014 and PALA in 2019.
Chiraz has developed into a trusted advisor for the most demanding clients. He practices at the highest level and specializes in the most complex matters in the field of Dutch employment law, contract law and corporate law. Chiraz is sharp, committed and solution-oriented. He likes to offer excellent quality and guidance to clients, but preferably let that reflect on the rest of his team.
For years, Chiraz has been a valued member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), the Employment Law Association (VvA) and the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association (VAAA).
Rob Lussenburg, Partner | Lawyer
Since 2010 Rob is registered as a lawyer in The Hague. In larger or more complex matters, in extreme busy times and in Chiraz’s absence, Rob is brought in as a partner or as an observer.
Rob graduated from the University of Leiden in 1982 in Dutch employment law. Before Rob was sworn in as a lawyer, he already had a broad career at the Dutch Ministry of Education & Science and Leiden University.
At the ministry, he eventually worked as a policy officer in the Employment Policy Department. He then held various positions in administrative management at Leiden University. In his position as Secretary to the Board’s Office, he kept the external relations of the university on the Executive Board level in his portfolio. Rob’s background in administrative and executive activities on Executive Board level has resulted in a wealth of experience and a large network that he can rely on a daily basis.
In 2008 Rob also used his legal and executive experience outside the university, by starting a management board advisory practice. When his practice shifted more and more into a legal advisory practice, it was a logical step for him to be sworn in as a lawyer.
